Hawk's averaging 10 less-than-2.5-second pressures by defenders who are initially blocked per game. That seems nuts! What QB would look great in those conditions? Add that to the sacks, the normal pressures, the inability to run the ball, and the out-of-control O-line penalties constantly backing us up, and you get a clearer picture of why we're averaging 3rd and 8.9 this year (worst of all NFL teams since 1980) and what Geno has to deal with. My intent isn't to provide excuses. Just a little context.

I love the Hawks and we have to be honest. This team isn’t going anywhere this season. I think they stand a better chance against the niners next year with more experience under the new system. If they win, that’s fantastic, but we gotta be real with ourselves and what the season has told us thus far.

SEA
I’m a Seahawks fan and so far into the season I have a 8-2 record on my predictions this season and something is just poking at me saying that the Seahawks will win it by a close one but it will definitely be ugly

Reacting to our current LB situation with, "they screwed up!" is crazy. It's like we're turning into some damn WWE fans. Or, worse... Jets' fans. There's some honest critique that can be made about Schneider over the past 10 years, but this day-by-day "who's on the hot seat?" is nuts. When we kept Schneider through the Pete Carrol firing, he was obviously going to be here for at least a few more years, until the new ownership takes over. That will be his judgment day. Do we really want to be the fanbase calling for heads to roll in the first year of a new staff's transition year? Mike's, objectively, a proven defensive guru. It's taken him 2 years to put a solid defense together everywhere he's been. His X's and O's are very personnel dependent. He's inheriting a bad cap situation burdened with some overrated talent. He's kind of stuck. Next year will probably be a sh!tshow, as well. We're going to have to break more eggs, and we may not all get it in the moment. Around mid-season, the year after next, in 2026, he should have had enough time build his omelet. That'll be the time to get all judgy and loud.
Go Hawks!

CMC is a problem. Nick Bosa is a problem. Don't let Deebo go for forty yards on an end around and double or put Spoon on Kittle if he's a go and see if he can do it.
