When you think about it when Rigby says "if you could get Benson to put a bronze statue of me in the park" this actually might be foreshadowing to Pops death, since after he died they placed a bronze statue in the park to honor him.

Since Ross will experience death for eternity, doesn’t that mean Rigby’s kill count is equivalent to Giorno’s?

So ended Ross, last and greatest of Coach Teaching and Time Destroying. His collar keeps bringing his bodyless head back to life, and he floated through space for the rest of time. He wished for death, but he keeps dying every second. Eventually, Ross stops thinking, the spark of thought within went dim… and then, silent.

I know Rigby screws up a lot but the guy was willing to sacrifice himself so his friends could have a better life. I know he’s not perfect but Rigby is one of the best characters because of how much he has evolved throughout the series alongside Mordecai.
