Suminagashi - Simple But Awesome Art Project for Kids or Adults - Japanese Paper Marbling (TFO #2)
Показать описание
Water, ink and paper: it's all you need to make an amazing art form that has fascinated cultures from Japan to Italy over the last 850 years. In this episode, "Travis Finds Out"... about Sumingashi -- Japanese for "Floating Ink."
Miriam Sagan, the National Park Service Artist-In-Residence at Agate Fossil Beds National Monument in Nebraska showed Travis and Ainsley how to create these subtle swirls. The kids later used the papers as greeting cards, poetry paper, and gift wrap!
