Bots Work on Digital Platforms

Bots work wherever you have a digital platform interfacing with a human. The human poses a question or comment and the bot is able to answer automatically without another person being involved. Siri, Alexa and the like are all sophisticated bots. Phone systems that respond to voices and the words people use are also a form of bot. So are the SatNavs that respond to voice commands.

In some cases the bot can respond to very sophisticated levels of communication and very complex commands. It can even learn from previous experience. But, at the end of the day, it is just a communication device and needs to be used sensibly,
