Its crazy how much commentary there is on how "big" these are. Theyre the smallest variants of each model... Id love to see this guys reaction to a 3500 or dually truck lol

Stock fuel consumption on a family holiday with regular driving at speed limits is 11L/100km in the chev. Around town varies between 10 and 20 depending how you drive it. 13L/100km in the city is normal.

RAM ALL DAY !! These trucks just have a Soul. And yes I have drove the Chevy and the Ford f150. And have owned a 13' Ram 1500 . I would get a RAM again.

Chev needs to step up their game on the interior, it’s ten years old. I bought a 2020 Ram 1500 limited night edition in black and couldn’t be happier, it’s my second 1500, the first one is a 2010 and I’m still using it.

Yep iv got the Chev also. Towing a 24 foot 4t caravan and sitting on 21L to the 100. Do that in a Landcruiser !!!
It does around 11-12L not towing.

Holy shite, I thought us Canadians got stroked at the dealer. You Aussie’s are taking it dry with absolutely no lube. Over 100k for a loaded 1500….. OUCH 😣

the ram is siomply stunning, sadly i will have to stick with my DS until i can afford a DT
....these are bigger than dual cab utes, but you can still do 95% of urban use...and youd be surprised where they fit

Unless you've got a family of 5 to drive around every single day there's absolutely no need to get this oversized massive model. I've gone on the US Ram website and configured a 1500 Tradesman single cab and added the 5.7 Hemi engine, All wheel drive, anti slip differential and added the "black" package and it comes to a price of $ 33, 000 US.

Would buy either one over new overpriced landcruiser

I don’t think if the Chev was the High Country model it would’ve changed things much, the LTZ is reasonably high spec, the Ram is impressive in interior and ride refinement and looks good. I however prefer the Silverado’s massive chrome presence, it just seems to suit full size American truck in my mind but each to their own for sure, if one preferred the Ram I wouldn’t have the slightest issue with that. Will be interesting to see the refresh of the Silverado when it finally hits, it was supposed to have already debuted in the U.S. but they’ve put it back sighting the computer chip shortage. Chevy will certainly need to step up their interior game to remain ultra competitive, Ford have just upped their game with the F150 in their new release.
Thanks for doing this comparison, been looking out for it on Australasian soil. 👍🏼

I love the Ram, I hope there are going to be some arriving in Perth.

No need for these in Australia if you “not allowed” to go outside. Maybe after 29 more jabs

Those Ami trucks are way under rated for what you call payload.

It’s so odd seeing the trail break being on the left side of of the touch screen on the Ram

Why is Chevy placing their badging in the wrong areas...seems like they're playing pin the tail on the donkey

But these 1500 trucks will out pull any midsize truck its about towing capacity not really payload.
