The pace was frenetic but I was entertained. I'm hoping for more substance as the story unfurls. I'm also wishing that Amalia True saying 'this is not my face' is explained and not just a good one off line.

I enjoyed the pilot but it was mainly the actors that I enjoyed. I thought they did quite well. The pacing was way too brisk and I can only hope the show will move away from its desire to preach politics. Frankly the show doesn't feel remotely original. It feels like a bunch of recycled ideas that have been recombined in a different setting. The actors/effects/ fight scenes are what basically carry this show. The weakness is in the writing and editing. I'll keep watching it but if it leans into more and more political stuff i'm just going to move on. That type of stuff works for something like watchmen or The Handmaid's tale, but this script felt like hollywood pandering and I'm looking for entertainment not to constantly be preached to by hollywood especially when it is done in an unoriginal way.
