It does not matter if you are 5, 10, 30, 50 years old as long as you are enjoying and having fun doing what you love (which clearly you are showing it in the video).
By the way, I have watched other pokemon let’s go eevee/pikachu reviews and this is the only one that convinced me to go and buy the game. I was not sure at first but after watching this video I really want to go and buy it, and I will.
Pretty sure I am not the only one after watching this video.

For some reason Pokemon: let's go Evee/Pikachu is basically Pokemon GO but instead of walking around you just sit down and collect Pokemon with the switch

Today has been the worst day in a while. Thank you so much for goading a chuckle out of me!
And I completely agree on the catching mechanic. It's really nice in the way it makes battling feels fresh and interesting when you get to a trainer-area, instead of making you want to dodge them all. Also, I've tried to only catch 1 of each Mon I've seen, and the coach trainers and bosses are only rarely a lvl or two below my mine. In my experience, this is maybe the best balanced game in terms of difficulty we've had in the franchise!

I’m so glad you enjoy the game so much!! I, just like you, was super skeptic to the fact that wild battles were not a thing in this game. At first I didn’t plan on getting it at all, but as the hype and nostalgia started building up, I just couldn’t wait to get my hands on a Pokémon game finally on the Switch. And MAN do I love this game! I even ended up getting both versions, and I can’t even say how much I enjoy travelling through Kanto again.

One thing I kind of nit pickedly disliked was how there's no opening nidorino and gengar fight, that would have been cool to see
