Timing diagrams in Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect

Nice and clear...
So I understand that timing diagrams are to state machine diagrams like what object diagrams are to class diagrams. However, when creating object diagrams we can simply drag classes to the diagram and they'd typically be added as objects. Can't we just simply drag the states created from a state machine diagram straight from the model to a timing diagram?
