This video focuses mostly on on-role builds. Since they made such a big deal about Smite 2 allowing for flexibility and off-rolling, I would love to see a video with reasonable off-role builds for characters. Understandably they may not be the best way to play, but it would be something.

i just want them to put the item builder back in the main menu so u can save custom loadouts. Auto build is ok but when new items get bought through that im not taking the time to read them when im trying to play

No seriously, the fact that you can effectively have 2 of Spear of Desolation’s passive stacked on each other on a build that’s already provides at least 50% CDR is diabolical (especially on Thanatos whom already HAS a similarly functioning passive.)

Only thing I have to add would be to not build soul reaver on hecate if it isn't 100% necessary. The way soul reaver now deals damage in ticks removes her mezmories on her one since the damage instantly wakes them up
Probably not that big of a deal but something you should consider when buying soul reaver

For Anubis, you should use the same build but with Bloodbound Book instead. The 40% lifesteal just isn't worth it, especially considering how prevalent anti-heal is in the current meta. If you're going to be countered anyway, it's better to have an item with a useful active effect. I really wish they would at least give Typhon's Fang a passive related to lifesteal. Honestly, they should bring back its passive from Smite 1 and do the same for Bancroft's Talon (return the item), but make both items solely give lifesteal (about 25% each). That way, you could at least justify their existence. Just stacking lifesteal alone isn't enough in Smite 2, it is just too easy to inflict anti-heal (500 gold is all you need and you have typhon's fang countered).

Thank you for this video, while SmiteSource is still being updated there is not really a good place to look for builds yet and this video is exactly what i was looking for, going to try out that Hades Solo build

You should.make a video about which Gods are most user friendly. Or which are lower skill ceiling. I am newer and some of these Gods are very difficult to use.

I would say yo over priotize ult damage scaling in your math on hybrid gods for example ares scales much better with int than str if yo calc for cooldown times.

Crit Morrigan is actually busted with her passive being able to crit causing her with 1 crit item maybe 2 to solo any of the jungle camps also 1 hit of her passive can kill most full damage gods

I'm pretty sure Soul reaver is just busted and if you get rid of crusher on loki and get soul reaver you will do more damage

I've tested it and you do at least 100 more damage on all abilities with SR
