GoBrick vs Lego. Is This Motor Any Good? Let's Find Out!

Testing an alternative "Lego" motor to see if it is better than the original.

The motor the GoBrick is compared to was not a real Lego motor. It was tested against a real Lego motor and performed the same so it should work fine for this comparison. I used it because I my last real Lego motor stopped working. Since the real one was broken I took it apart to compare the internals.

excellent research wish I'd though to do this first! My no name Large motor is a lot more powerful than the Lego one, but it has no cutout. It spins faster when linked to the same power pack. And is 1/3 the price . It does smell like ozone/burning though, and I did break one. Might have been because I was running it in parallel with the slower Lego motor though.

This is NOT the 300% Speed Motor vom Gobricks, it's the normal one. The 300% Speed variant has a black housing.

You should get a China monster (buggy motor) and test the current variants. I bought a few last year (12 dollars a piece ) and they were screaming .,

they are very similar except for bo toys brand (which are faster and the internals break!) i like WINNER brand more than lego because it doesn't use infrared!
