Pretty much the only other thing I wanted from this book would be a section from Geode’s perspective. I never thought I’d fall in love with a fictional rock yet here we are.

I too really enjoyed the book, but felt like the Byne Guild storyline really dragged the rest of the story down and wasn’t as interesting, but I loved Reath/Orla/Cohmac so much that I’d still give the book an A. Great review.

Now to the more important question: Where did you get that shirt?! 😍

Was a fun read. All of the characters were top notch but some parts of the story (Byrne Guild, Drengir home world) either dragged on or felt shoehorned. Definitely agree on your pacing comment!

A lot of interesting characters (Geode was awesome), but the evil plants were TERRIBLE bad guys. They had me intrigued until they started talking... 🤦

My grade would be a lot less generous than yours, but it still made me interested in getting more of these characters in the future.
