Stopped using pucks a couple years ago and never looked back. All Liquid Chlorine for me and I actually find it much easier

I use tablets but my CYA is ALWAYS low. I shock once a week. Even tried using chlorine granular to get levels up. But cya stays low. My ph stays low. Alkalinity is good however.

Chlorine tablets aren’t that acidic themself, chlorine reacts with water to form hcl and hocl which are acidic

How long will it take for my cya levels to increase of if I place 3 tabs in my floater? It seems my cya levels never rises even though I’m placing tabs in my floater every week.

Do not put pool cookies in the skimmer basket it voids the warranty on the pump.
