It would have been great if the GM "brain trust " added a fuel
pump service access port behind the rear seat during development of the third and fourth F body it would have made pump swap hella easy!

Trap door is the only way to go. Mines just took a crap on me time it's a 255 Walboro. Time for a new one, great video.

I don't know if you fixed the hatch by now but Hvac tape does a pretty good job at sealing that hole up well temporary or forever its up to you. Im about to cut up my 95 trans am to do the fuel pump because it died at a gas station and i unfortunately cant take out the rear axle because its parked in the grass
