Optimus Prime, Transform!

Happy birthday, Peter Cullen!

This actually wasn't made for the legend's bday, but it was such a nice coincidence I got it done so near to it. I made it to end my school break!

The Optimus design featured in this
short animation is my own, from my Transformers AU: Transformers Starcross. They're non-binary, and turn into an MRTC 3000 Class train.

You can check them out here!

I voiced their "TRANSFORM!" even though I'm not non-binary, so I hope that's okay. I didn't want to bother anyone for such a small, impulsive project.

And it seems the pose takes reference from armada if im correct

This art style would actually be PERFECT for a Transformers Toku-inspired anime.

I adore the way Optimus's transformation scheme would be absolutely feasible on a toy, just with some Sunrise Studio-esque embellishing of how cleanly things fit together. It helps sell the mechanical detail in their design while adding a stylistic flair. Not a lot of people give that much thought, and that IS fine, but I adore seeing people go that extra mile.
