i was diagnosed with scabies it was on my balls! at first i got depressed as i tried many treatments but nothing was effective so this is what i did to get rid of scabies 1.your doctor may prescribe a cream or lotion (important things is you have to apply for all the family members of yours as the transfer from one body to another so each and every member should put lotion apply fully on body and wash it at moring apply weekly once) apply untill your complete rid of scabies, this treatment was effective my itchiness was gone but not the bumps 2. it was traditional practices in tamilnadu as we would make a paste with neem leaves and turmeric powder (make a paste plug fresh neem leaves from tree and take a mixer and grind it well like semi solid and add some turmeric powder like neem 75% and turmeric powder 25% apply it thrice a week apply fully to your body form neck to toe and wait for 2 hours and take a bath, your damaged skin will automatically fall off within 2 weeks) 3. if any new bumps arrives after your skin fall off be precautions because your skin is prone to scabies so it will easily affected so apply turmeric powder at make it a paste and apply to spot where new bumps are formed

Surprisingly, the only thing I’ve seen to work is “Aquaphor”. Idk what it is but they die from it. You can get it with no prescription. Extra strength is better if you have severe itching. You just rub a good amount on the affected area and surrounding area. Rub it in well and let it sit. If you rub long enough you can fill them come out (feels like grains of sand). Try not to scratch. Don’t over rub because you can irritate the skin and cause swelling. If you have light skin you will be able to see them (they look like specks of pepper). Reapply when needed. When you take a shower; scrub with a washcloth to remove excess dead mites. Put another coat on after the shower. Only wear clothing/ undergarments that have been previously cleaned. Wash all clothing and bedding in hot water. Continue to apply the “Aquaphor” for about a week after the area has cleared to ensure the mites aren’t coming back. I would wash all bedding the day you start so you can have a clean start and no chance of recontamination. I really hope this can help anyone suffering from this. I know how terrible and frustrating it is!! 🙏🏽❤️

Little did I know, but I had scabies on and off for 18 months. I saw a dermatologist and despite checking me all over with his magnifying glass he did not diagnose the condition. I had very few rashes or bumps, but had intensive itching (particularly at night), occasionally sensitive skin when in the sun and often had goosebumps and chills. Strangely enough, the only thing that provided temporary relief from the itching was a very hot bath!? In the end, I took 2x treatments of Permethrin, 2x treatments of Ivermectin, but the game changer seemed to be 2x treatments of Malathion. In addition all clothes were changed daily, bagged up for 3x days or washed at high temperatures. All bedding was changed every other day - believe me this felt like some sort of super variant that made my life hell, so don't underestimate it!

I had scabies too, I used Sulphur 10% ointment. I used it for 5 days, applied every 2 hrour during the day. Next morning wash it and used clean new cloths, cloths after wearing put into boiling water leaving 1 hour. Do this will get relief soon. Stay care.

And no, that’s a lie. You don’t put one application on and then repeat in seven days. It doesn’t work. You have to put it on every day for the minimum of seven days. I don’t know where people are getting their info from, but I’ve been through this before and I am currently going through it again. You also have to dump boiling hot water on your clothes. Put a load in the washer, dump boiling hot water on them and then wash them.put them in the dryer for the minimum and I mean minimum of one hour on the hottest temperature.

I took ivermectin as I have genital scabies ..
My pubic region is so irritated from scratching that my pubic hair feels like fibreglass stuck in my skin and the urge to wax off the hair from root is so intense it’s driving me crazy!
Can I do this at home? Wax it then wash it with Benzac ? ( benzoyl peroxide ) then apply a cortisol cream?

I've been suffering for long time. I had been prescribed to use a lotion for one time on a week. But itching isn’t reducing and new bubbles are appearing in the skin everyday.

Will it take time to heal or It's just getting outside from my skin as bubble? Please reply if anyone can help me
