I remember having scabies when I lived in NC. Once I took the pills my dermatologist perscribed, it went away in less than two days. Was told the oral treatment was faster than topical. Even though the mites were dead, I still had to scrub and exfoliate to get the eggs off.

Surprisingly, the only thing I’ve seen to work is “Aquaphor”. Idk what it is but they die from it. You can get it with no prescription. Extra strength is better if you have severe itching. You just rub a good amount on the affected area and surrounding area. Rub it in well and let it sit. If you rub long enough you can fill them come out (feels like grains of sand). Try not to scratch. Don’t over rub because you can irritate the skin and cause swelling. If you have light skin you will be able to see them (they look like specks of pepper). Reapply when needed. When you take a shower; scrub with a washcloth to remove excess dead mites. Put another coat on after the shower. Only wear clothing/ undergarments that have been previously cleaned. Wash all clothing and bedding in hot water. Continue to apply the “Aquaphor” for about a week after the area has cleared to ensure the mites aren’t coming back. I would wash all bedding the day you start so you can have a clean start and no chance of recontamination. I really hope this can help anyone suffering from this. I know how terrible and frustrating it is!! 🙏🏽❤️

Came across this video whilst frantically searching for scabies online. Being a final year pharmacy student, Clinical Pharmacy after Pharmacology has always been my favourite subject. However the amount of information available on these diseases is never “clinical pharmacy” oriented until NOW. So thank a ton, Abraham for helping me out on this.

I tried everything under the sun and some things helped but we're very toxic and was painful . Tea tree oil clove oil Neem oil this that and the other . They all affected them to some degree but was never what I needed and that was to stop the suffering.I pray to God that what did work for me will also work for you cause I know the suffering goes way past just being itchy!!! I bought some white vinegar and I suggest you dilute it down so that it still burns just a tolerable burn .it will hurt if you don't dilute it enough I did one to one ratio and it wiped out the itch almost immediately started drying up all the bumps within hours I was well on my way to better!! Your invironment and how you clean it is the key to success. I failed a time or two and won some battles only to loose the war . I really hope you find relief with this as I did I love you all and pray for you

Hi so I’ve gone through the treatment of using the 5% permethrin cream a doctor prescribed me and I’ve used it twice like you mentioned, I washed my sheets in hot water and even stopped sleeping on my mattress and switched to the couch and for a few days I cleared up very fast and felt great ! But up to 2 days ago (roughly a week after using the treatment twice) I’ve started to itch worst than before and it seems like it’s spread to new parts of my body. Please help! Thank you

I had it 3 to 4 years ago . I remember inching so bad and the rash wouldn’t go away . I called my doctor, told her what was happening, she told me in the phone I had scrabies . It’s no joke ! The prescription is expensive but worth it .

Try benzyl benzoate lotion, it worked for.
First I took a worm bath then ...
I applied the benzyl benzoate lotion all over my body (including genital) my except my face for 24 hours.

Took all my bedding and clothes and lock them up in one place for 7 days
Then got new duvet and new clothes to use for that 7 days.
On this exact moment, I'm scabies free.

My washer machine only goes upto 40c that's the highest setting so how I put it on a high wash if my washing machine doesn't go that high also do I need to apply it to my scalp also I'm using Derbac M and it's a liquid not a cream I also stick tissue in my nose and it stops it running.

Abraham with the cream you get to treat Scabies... you are not supposed to apply this to your head above the neck, so how do you deal with scabies here please? I am concerned, that I may have some in my eye or eyes? Also, struggling to get my doctors to take this seriously as they should any advice please?

And should I purchase flea spray or something similar for furniture, bedding etc?
