2 days prep, 2 cameras, 1 take live, 5 hours of editing, 1 hour processing, all for 16 minutes of video I'm proud to present to you. If you've ever wondered what's in a carburetor or how they work, this video should be worth watching!

This was the perfect week to edit this as I was at the #3MAutoBootCamp most of the week (a month after filming this one) and get it from my crowded hard drive to the rest of the world via the magic of YouTube!

Great Explanation, Brian. Brought back memories is our detached, unheated, "termited" garage "back in the day".

Great video Brian, I really enjoy the opportunity to learn some old school tech. Also, that carburetor was made down the road from me in Rochester, NY. Always like to see Made in USA.

Thats a great explanation/video. Nice job! We have a 120 mercruiser I/O on our old boat (the 2.5 GM). Great little engine in the boats, they seem to last forever.

This is a fantastic video and of the carb videos I've seen, it's the best at explaining the actual operating principles of a carb.

The so called throttle response plunger (the accelerator pump) or what ever you want to call it we should rename it from this point forward it is going to be the "gas guzzler mode" lol

Great vid! I have a 67 MGB with Weber 32/36 carb, manual choke. Question, what is the best way to start when engine is warm cooled for about 10-15 min. I know no choke but what do I do with the throttle??? Thanks!!
