I believe we will see a rematch between Colby Covington and Kamaru Usman. If they have a rematch, could Colby win this time?

I used to hate Colby a lot, But now I’m a big fan. I think Colby is going to win. Usman looked tired when he fought Jorge, I don’t think he can go with Colby‘s cardio. Remember, Colby was winning until Usman took a break when he faked the nut shot.

Would not surprise me if this is another classic, remember completely different style matchup with Colby, Colby dared Usman to wrestling when he attempted a takedown, Colby has got better too remember that. To beat Usman you need a chin, gas tank, and a good wrestling background, Colby and Usman are the only people with all three of those things in the welterweight rankings right now.

Colby has made a fan of me as well. He’s proven he can implement a game plan (vs lawyer) and he and Usman are both well rounded… but I think Usman has weakness and as champ others have been watching too

Watch Usman vs Covington 1 and look at each kick each fighter throws. Colby always aims with his shin high and low. Usman always kicks with his foot. Shin is more solid but different kicks for different reasons. Maybe

Colby checks his opponents kicks. Usman does check leg kicks with his shin. And if your shins are conditioned then it’s preferred to check the kick. But that’s Usmans weakness. He ate 3 kicks from Masvidal, had to switch stances and that’s when masvidal had success vs Usman…

Usman just plans on taking his opponent out by the time the leg kicks really effect him. Or that they won’t kick in fear of a takedown. Nate Diaz is same way, he never conditioned he shins to check kicks and he’s not the same fighter after eating some leg kicks

Covington already stood toe to go with Usman for 4 rounds, he’s not afraid to wrestle Usman, that front leg is easiest target and he can do enough damage on that lead leg before Usman finds a solution

Colby not gonna stop him with leg kicks. But once damage is inflicted Usman will be weaker in wrestling. And most importantly Usman will have to defend the easiest thing for Colby to hit…

Usman will be a different fighter if he can not stand there and fire his jab. That’s like 70% of his striking. He will probably want to wrestle and if he wrestles his striking will never be the same afterwards…

Colby has the toughness and skill to do it. I think he’s training in private because he’s really toughning up his shins and preparing for a Justin Gaethje type leg kick assault early and gonna win the standup battle late…

Colby-Wilder has a chance but not likely. In the first fight Colby-Wilder just wasn’t doing any damage. Usman’s strikes were devastating. Look at the two fighters faces after the fight. Colby-Wilder is full of excuses even claiming he slipped when he was clearly knocked on his butt twice and had the side of his head beat in leading to a TKO stoppage, but at the end of the day Usman is physically stronger, had the better gas tank, is better conditioned, is clearly the more powerful striker. People want to refer to Colby-Wilder’s past wrestling in division 1 but as of today in the UFC Usman is the better, stronger wrestler with a perfect take down defense of 100% and a take down accuracy of 50% whereas Colby-Wilder has a take down defense of 48% and a take down accuracy of 35%…I haven’t seen much improvement in Colby-Wilder’s skill, but Usman however, since he broke Colby-Wilder has gotten exponentially better. I don’t think Colby-Wilder will last two rounds.

I don’t think they hate each other that much, I think it’s all business tbh, it’s funny how Usman is liking all of Colby’s sister IG pics

Usman wins the rematch, easily. Usman was on his way to a decision win the first time but got the TKO instead. Since then, he's been pretty active (3 wins) and the work he's done with Trevor Wittman in Colorado has taken his standup game to a whole new level.

Since the first fight, Colby has only fought a past-his-prime Tyron Woodley, and even then it still took almost the entire 5 rounds to get the finish. Vicente Luque just choked out that same Woodley in the first round (no disrespect to Luque though, that's my boy, but Luque ain't Usman).

Even though Usman's roots are with wrestling, I still think Colby's best chance is to take the fight to the ground because with how Usman's standup game has evolved, Colby might not even see round 3 if he tries to strike with Usman. It's more even on the ground. But even then, the champ should still win.

Your use of the F word is as unnecessary as your opinion about the rematch is wrong. Aka Hella
