I love this! I've already seen before that so much impersonation could be stopped dead if more people used cryptographic signatures (like PGP/GPG). A big hamper to that is PGP/GPG is a pain in the ass to use and teach people to use. This implementation makes it basically effortless!

This is a really good project and a good potential leap into deepfake security. I wonder if this can be applied inside the file of the audio source in some way since it's just a stream of audio and video bytes.

about the cryptographic section, im not too well read on cryptography, but isnt this what quantum computers are trying to do but with the upside that theres *literally* no way of being able to break the encryption?

This would work! I can see this being used on very important videos, like presidential communications etc !

im not quite sure how this works? you wouldnt need to 'forge the cryptographic signature in the saf code' for deep faking because of the way deepfakes today work. its not exactly like you take the original data and just morph it into something that looks right, its not like smearing a canvas in microsoft paint where you could get the information back if you just knew how to undo it all, deepfakes take the data, jumble it up into something the ai can understand, and then give an output on it that is what you would want to... oh wait the point is that ai wouldnt have the signature.... ok im confused.
