I select Katrina Velarde as my # 1. Aside from relzed delivery, her belting has no shade of yelling! My 2nd is Morisette Amon. She has a fantastic and smooth style in belting. My 3rd is Regine Velasquez. She can belt and reach a very high note but I can sense some yelling. For me, the rest are about equal. It is a matter of one's personal tonality preference and particular incidental considerations one may consider.

Do you know why I love Charice because she sings very clean, the words, the sounds. Charice gives EMOTION to each words, NOT ALWAYS SHOW OFF or BELTING here and there, because most of the Filipino singers can belt, but very few can give justice to each words or very few can really put emotions to each words. Everyone knows she can belt. Inspite off, Charice always sings with emotions. Belt, then going down, very flawless.

I don’t appreciate singers who only Shouting, sings on top of their lungs, and no emotions at all just show off their powerful voices.

Now, despite Charice has turned into Jake, no one could replace Charice. She’s always for me the #1.

Most can belt, however, very few can give justice and PROPER EMOTIONS/TRANSITIONS FROM LYRICS TO LYRICS
