The AGV K6 is the latest street helmet from the Italian manufacturer. Aimed at all types of rider, the K6 sets out to offer both comfort and performance in a lightweight package. It's a good looking helmet that's well put together, but what is it like to ride in?

I crashed at well above 70mph and I had a K6 secret on. Head was not damaged at all, helmet Ended up a tad squashed. Highly recommended and I’ve just bought another as the first one saved my life.

Amazing helmet! I've used it for riding my e-scooter this season. The thing about this helmet is I don't really feel it's weight. Super smooth and comfortable. I've had some issues with fogging, but mostly due to lower speeds (e-scooter is not a bike after all) and probably some inoptimal position (when the air does not flow so much through the vents). Anyways, I always got that special feeling when I take it on and go for a ride.

Nice vid 👍. I’ve had a K6 for about 6 months now. It’s a very good fit and the weight is what attracted me to it. The visor release is a real pain in the backside and I’ve ended up unscrewing the metal tap off the visor to get rid of it!

Good review! Agree, the neck roll really helps to keep wind noise out. Love the light weight. A couple of small gripes: a few creaks from the liner as you move your head around. The shield lock tab does draw your eyes to it with the shield cracked or open, kind of like the glasses in ' The Jerk'. The chin strap is not as intuitive as similar from Shoei or Arai. Overall, I like it.

Great review thank you. Bought my second one for my summer 24' EU tour. Imo I could not find a better put together light weight (massive plus) comfortable all round helmet at this price point. AGV can easily charge more and iit would still be worth it.

I own this helmet and can attest to its quality and fit, the fit is due to the knowledgeable staff at SportsBikeShop,
without them I would have purchased the wrong size . You really don't know its on and its pretty quiet but i do wear
earplugs as well . Visibility ie field of view is very good and I'm sure I don't have to turn my head as much to do
a lifesaver check. Paint finish is top notch and the visor feels solid. Only gripe and its minor, to unlock the visor
takes a little longer to find with a gloved hand but Im getting better at it. Solid 8/10 buy.

I agree with everyone else that you did a great job with this review—one of the best I’ve seen and I’ve been down the rabbit hole for quite a while at this point. Great content 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

thank you mr mancave for another great review. I especially like that you test ride the helmets more than once on the bike and even go through the motions of working the vents and visor controls. I like this helmet for quality, price, weight and you mentioned stability at high speed was good - that is important. Am replacing a 2009 SHARK full face and really do not know what a modern helmet is going to feel like - probably very good. The nightmare scenario is buying a modern helmet with new features and finding out in time that they don't work as well as claimed or are irritating to use with gloves. Looking also at the HJC RPHA 70 and the Shoei nxr 2 + gt air 2. All have decent ratings and appear to be decent choices for me as I mostly do technical sport riding or travel often to mtns 5 hrs away and need that touring/travel performance as well. From the HJC to the GT Air 2 is about a $200 dollar difference. If I can assume all will feel suitable after fitting, do you have an opinion on which one you prefer for either quality or value? THANKS!

I've always liked AGV lids, I've had a few over the years. Everyone has been well made and they stand up well in use. I must have an AGV shaped head as out of all the hemets I've ever owned thay have always fitted me the best.
