Life Beyond: Mysterious Traces of Extraterrestrial Life on Titan | Space DOCUMENTARY

🌍 Welcome to the surface of Saturn's largest moon, Titan! It is the second largest satellite in the solar system, just after Ganymede, the satellite of Jupiter, with a diameter that puts it even ahead of Mercury and Pluto!
The largest moon of Saturn, Titan, could contain life, scientists have discovered!
With its significantly thick, nitrogen-rich atmosphere and saltwater oceans beneath a rigid ice sheet, Titan is the most Earth-like world we've ever found!
Moreover, although Titan is a satellite of Saturn, it has all the attributes of a full-fledged planet: clouds, rain, rivers, lakes and even an underground saltwater ocean.
The search for alien worlds suitable for life has long been a subject of interest to scientists. Although the planet Mars attracts more attention, it has turned out that within the solar system, there are worlds much more interesting in this respect than the red planet.
The information available to scientists today, obtained from the Cassini space mission, admits the existence of a version that life on Titan is a real fact!
Although we have learned some amazing things about Titan, many questions remain about this satellite.

🔥 As a reminder, videos are published on SUNDAYS at 6:00 PM.

💥 Saturn's moon Titan:
- Discovered by Dutch astronomer Christian Huygens in March 25, 1655, and named after ancient deities from Greek mythology, Titan is Saturn's most interesting moon and the second largest in our solar system and the only one with a dense atmosphere.
The true nature of Saturn's largest moon remained a mystery until the Cassini spacecraft visited the giant planet's system, making 127 close flybys of Titan.
"Cassini" also sent a small landing probe to Titan in 2005, "Huygens" from the European Space Agency. It is he who helped us to lift the veil of the secrets of the surface of Titan.
The size of this moon allows it to compete with the planets of the solar system. This celestial body has a diameter of 5151 km, which is larger than the diameter of Mercury (4879 km), slightly smaller than Mars (6779 km) and it is almost 50% wider than the Moon.
The mass of Titan is 1.345 x 1023 kg, 45 times less than the mass of our planet. By its mass, Saturn's satellite is the second in the solar system, after Ganymede, the satellite of Jupiter.
Despite its impressive size and weight, Titan has a low density, only 1.88 g/cm³. For comparison, the density of the parent planet Saturn is 687 kg/m³.
Scientists have identified a weak gravitational field in the satellite. The force of attraction on the surface of Titan is 7 times weaker than the terrestrial parameters and the gravity on the surface of the satellite is almost the same as on the Moon, at 1.35 compared to 1.62 on the Moon.
A characteristic feature of Titan is its position in space. Saturn's largest satellite orbits its parent planet in an elliptical orbit at a speed of 5.5 km/s, outside the region of Saturn's rings.
In addition, the average distance between Titan and the surface of Saturn is 1.22 million km. The whole system is located at a distance of 1.43 billion km from the Sun, 9.5 times the distance between our central star and the Earth.
Therefore, the light from the Sun takes about 80 minutes to reach Titan, so because of their great distance, the sunlight on this moon is about 100 times weaker than on Earth.

Wait what? How could such an awesome video has only 40 likes?! Keep up the good work man, it’s gonna pay off! 💙

Sorry, there is a mistake at 3:53. The mass of Titan is not 45 times greater (larger as you put it) that of the Earth. It is 44.4444~ times less.

There's life, then there's multicellular intelligent life. Big difference.

4:14 You say Titan's density is 1.88 g/cm^3 and that of Saturn is 687 kg/m^3. You should convert both to the same units to make a comparison. Titan's density is 1880 kg/m^3, which is close to 3 times that of Saturn. Comparing with the density of a gas giant is also a bit problematic.

Why don't you have your own tv show? Ur docos are better then most on tv now!?

@4:00 Incorrect Titan is no where near the mass of Earth! How could you have made that mistake?? The only thing more dense about Titan compared to Earth is it's atmosphere. That mistake made this unwatchable and it was good until that point to ugh.

Earth’s mass is 45 times the mass of titan bruv, not the other way around

Small Error:
A difference of 3 °C is equivalent to a difference of 5.4 °F ≈ 5 °F not 37 °F.

This is an easy mistake to make. 37 °F is approximately what you get when you convert a temperature of 3 Celsius to Fahrenheit via the formula F = 1.8C+32. However, you were not converting temperature, but change in temperature. There is no +32 when converting change in temperature.

The formula for converting change in Celsius to change in Fahrenheit is ∆F = 1.8(∆C)

At 3:53: " ...the mass of Titan is 1.345 times 10 to the 23rd kilograms, 45 times larger than the mass of our planet" - WHAT? Titan's mass 45 times larger than Earth's? This is utterly wrong!

Why does every artist get Saturn’s orientation wrong? Titan orbits almost exactly in the plane of the rings.

Elon Musk should give more interest on Titan then Mars.

It's a sad day when the adverts are longer than the video... You tube is becoming unwatchable because of over advertising during videos...👎👎👎

Fingers crossed on another life location in our solar system. Inferring life everywhere in the galaxy. And life more intelligent than humans, as per Avi Loeb. Which may help humans with a major shift, badly needed at this stage in our evolution.

I like this channel but it does make some very elementary mistakes. At 4:00 for example it says Titan's masss is 45 times more than Earth's. Anyone with any knowledge of astronomy will immediately realize that Titan's mass is actually 45 times *less* than Earth's; not 45 times more. Even Saturn itself only has about twice this stated mass, or about 90 times the Earth's mass. And right afterward the video gives a comparison of Saturn's density that makes it seem that it is hundreds of time denser than Titan rather than the actual figure of being less than half it's density. Fortunately, these mistakes are not too frequent and the videos are enjoyable.

Kinda ironic if all these planets named after the gods, and TITAN ends up being the place with life. 😂😂

So molecular machines construct themselves via millions of happy accidents in order to carry out complex specific tasks such as DNA repair? LOL!
