Just about everyone thinks of Axl as this wild and crazy rockstar then you hear him play the piano so beautifully that you want to cry.

Just imagine how good of a guitarist you must be to play this whilst being high as a bloody kite. Slash is one of a kind

I had no idea that Axel Rose could play the piano so damned well! This is the first time I have seen this particular live performance. I also thought (until now) that frames in the official video showing him on the piano were merely hype. My God, what a musician!

People don't write songs like this anymore. Name one song like this, a ballad, that has been played on the radio in the past 5...10 years. It doesn't happen. They replay all the best songs from the 80's-90's and early 2000's. Rest is a lot of pop schlep rock. Long live the greats.

My children’s dad died by his own hand last November. He was found outside, after walking away in the rain, to do what he did. I listen to this a billion times during my grieving process. This song has helped me so much.

If you're born in the eighties, you know how much this band and this song mean to us.

I used to listen to this song and feel sad. But now it's oddly comforting, when you realize nothing in this world lasts forever, nor is it supposed to.

I did not know Axl could play piano like that…brilliant.

I remember as a child, one of my cousin brothers used to listen to this daily, but I never understood anything because English isn't my first language. Time went by, and he had to move to a different country with his family in 2000 (I was only 8 years old). Before leaving, he gave me a bunch of CDs he used to listen to.
One of them was "Use Your Illusion I." This has been one of my all-time favorites since then. I'm eternally thankful to him for introducing such a masterpiece to me.

how id kill to just have a time machine to see them live in their prime 😭 having a good but old music taste is such a curse when you were born in the 2000s

My favourite Guns N Roses song and one of the greatest rock ballads ever. A masterpiece in every way.

You'll always know where you were when you first heard this song. Never had a chance to see live show but am thankful to YouTube for this.

This song and everything about it, is art. I was born in 1974 and I was 17 when this came out and pregnant with my first. Her bio father had just abandoned us and I was devastated. My mom and I were driving and this song came on, it fit the entire situation so well and honestly got me through one of the darkest times of my life.

Thousands of tears cried by thousands of ppl who were caught in the cold November rain. Axle was pure genius when he penned this song. Many talents, personalitys, ego truly one of the best.

Crazy group with an even crazier talent coupled with an insane voice all performed with axel wearing boxer shorts playing the piano. Isn't life unpredictably wonderful and intoxicatingly beautiful.

It's amazing how authentic yet close to the studio version this is.

Was never a huge GnR fan, but always recognized this tune as the masterpiece it is. Perfectly composed piece of music. Beautiful really.
