Oh my gosh I needed this video 2 months ago but I'm still glad it's here.

I need to upgrade my old m545 and I use its tilt wheel as a volume control. I very nearly got an MX3, but now I know it doesn't have a tilt control I will need to keep looking. Thanks for the video!

I have been using M720 triathlon without knowing about the tilt scroll. The only video which talks about different scroll types. Thanks.

My deal breaker when buying a mouse is the tilt wheel. That is the most useful feature on a productivity mouse.

But what about high-precision pixel scrolling instead of line-by-line scrolling?
The information on which mice support this is SO HARD to find. And I still don't know if any logitech mouse supports it.
Most of the info you find is just wrong because people either haven't really tried it, or they don't understand what you mean, and they're misinterpreting some of the manufacturers "marketing terms".
If, scrolling causes your document to move "line-by-line", it's not really smooth scrolling.

Some report problems with scrolling on the Master 3s. You say it is the best!?

I really wish you added the gaming mice that have the advanced scrolling features, such as g502 and g900/903. I have been looking for a replacement for my aging g900 and I am not a fan of the g502 design.

Thanks man. I was recommended to try an advanced wheel but this actually explained what that meant. Gonna pickup the compact Logitech MX. Not a fan of those mice that try way to hard with their ergonomic shapes. If they put a mag wheel on a Logitech 203 I would buy that!

Just bought a Logitech Signature M650 and it’s so bad it’s hard to believe it’s coming from Logitech, the cursor occasionally flies around 1 cm randomly.

Why does no one SHOW the horizontal scrolling in action? I just want to see how it works but reviews only show up/down scrolling. WHY

Hmm, but it still scrolls line by line, there is no real inertial scrolling like with the magic mouse, touch pad, or a phone. Also having a totally different wheel in another place to scroll left and right is not a good design.

Thanks, this was really helpful. And this is why Apple's badly designed mouse is at the same time the best and the worst mouse available.
Incredible how Logitech does not have a natural 4 way scrolling with a small ball if not the full glass touch like Apple, this is beyond me.
This crappy Apple mouse has swipes and gestures as well, again incredible Logitech does not support these as well.
What about smooth scrolling without that horrible skipping of lines on Windows, is this because of my old 705, or it is the OS?

Logitech is a scam company. I used MX anywhere mouse and it started to give click issues after one year.. Warranty is expired and Logitech refused to repair it. Even paid repair is not possible because spare parts are unavailable they said. I do not recommend their products to anyone.
