I really like the design choice to make the Burrow-Nit and Joust-Mite's shells look so similar. Having missed out on Pikmin 1 and 2 the first time around, encountering a Burrow-Nit for the first time in the Pikmin 1&2 remasters really threw me for a loop, and I imagine the same thing happened the other way around to long-time fans encountering the Joust-Mite for the first time.

One time when I was a kid I brought a full army of 100 pikmin to this thing and simply watched them all get eaten 1 at a time.
Memory foggy but I think it took the majority of the day to accomplish this.

I hope the cloaking burrow nit comes back as a boss type enemy, burrowing from mound to mound, piercing your piks as you go around the boss stage

Why does nobody talk about how the joustmite impales Pikmin entirely through the body before sucking their insides while the Pikmin are still alive??? I get so disturbed from this sometimes that I don't play Pikmin for months.

I like the Cloaking Burrow-Nit's design. The flat white face is endearing.

The Burrow-Nit is the knight with all back armor while Joust-Mites are literally the wall blocking your attacks unless you get the back of their sunburned bodies

Purple Pikmins can actually do damage to it if you use send purple pikmins on it while it's currently chasing pikmin.

You'll notice that if you throw purple pikmins on it's back while doing so, it will do damage and can also stun
