Smolmim - Smaller Variants of Pikmin. These seemed to do far less damage to creatures than their full-sized counterparts. They seemed to be faster and lighter, though. Their existence seemed to not effect the onion, so I could still have 100 regular pikmin. Even more, I seemed to be able to have more than 3 types of Smolmin. However, I found out that it takes 5 of the tiny ones to match the strength of 1 regular Pikmin.

I've never played a Pikmin game, but from what I've been told, this is exactly what playing Pikmin is like. Being overjoyed by the cuteness of your Pikmin only to watch in horror as they get eaten later.
