All characters have forms which represent their progress. The forms never loose their importance as their always part of their peaks in their lives

wtf are you chatting about, that would be so boring, we needed them to develop and grow and the transformations just do a great job at showing how far they came. Obviously power scaling is wacky and unreliable but that’s because of what plot demands, if they can easily beat people in their
blue forms, the story wouldn’t go so far

Super Saiyan was perfect. SS2 was more exciting. The rest was just changing colors and levels achieved way to easily. There was no heart in it like SS and SS2.
