nerdnic | nnSpeedWing Stress Test

Показать описание
My SpeedWing design is featured in my nnMiG 3, nnA-10, and nnP-39, and is 2.5cm thick. A similar strength design is used in all my designs, though. The design centers around a piece of flat aluminum that's 1/2" tall x 1/16" thick, length varies on the wing size but generally 20". Benefits of my wing are speed, strength, and little to no flex.
Since my nnMiG 3 I've made claims about how strong my wing is. I made claims that my SpeedWing design could handle repeated 100mph tight banked turns. And with those claims came people who doubted how strong my wing design was. How could a DTFB wing be strong? How could it pull that many Gs?
Knowing I had a winning design on my hands, I produced videos showing it in action. But even though I knew it could handle anything you could throw at it in the air, I've never known just how strong it actually was. 120mph banked turn with a 1500g plane has to be pulling a lot of Gs, right? How many Gs could the wing actually take before it failed?
So I put it to the test to see how much sheer weight my wings can hold. The results are amazing..
