Nic, I have no idea why it has taken me a year to find to find your YouTube content/website. the algorithms are truly unfair to you my freind! Flite test started me down my rc rabbit hole but I feel like you design method is about to take my stuff to the next level! Plus the tips and tricks you throw in are awesome man.you should have 10x the followers with what you have going on. keep doing what you do dude!

I am finishing up this build. Nic, you have done a great job with this aircraft !! I love the refined airfoil !! I am looking forward to mixing up some of your techniques with Ed's (from Experimental Air)... I think that the packing tape covering is smoother, and slicker.... or even going with Andrew Newton's iron on laminating film.. at any rate, your techniques have the best airfoils without wire cutting !! Thanks a bunch, I can't wait to fly it !!

This is awesome. What i really hate about flite test curves is that the curves are with foam. Yes it's stronger but my god it's pain in the ass. Just paper deck is better imo

At 11:30, if you tapered the wing tips by cutting of the bottom half up to the paper, like the FT models, would it prevent tip stalls?

If you are running the servos separately rather than on a y-cable do the servos still mirror each other or should they be installed opposite of each other? Thanks you anybody that can answer this for me, new to RC so I'll still learning how things work.

hi nic, so I am watching this because I downloaded and printed the plans of the bf 109 and I don't had much of a clue :D
I tried to build a plane once, a lidl glider convert to plane but I ripped of the nose and I had some major flaws but learned from it, it never really flew
I fly copter normally and I want to learn plane, and with watching this vid I would think I could build the plane, I have all parts on foam board ready, pieces are cut but I need all the bevelcuts etc only the black cuts are done
so would you recommend another plane for beginning, something from FT maybe? because I don't really know right now
