I remember the first time we had a garbage disposal...it was like the clouds parted and the sun rays filled my kitchen as angels sang This is how I feel when I walk in my laundry room when it is clean!

we keep the lid to the washer open, it's a top loader, but we put empty wide long baskets on top to keep the cats from climbing in. be sure to open the door to your front loader, it has to DRY out or it will MOLD.

You mean to tell me that that single, inch thick plank of plywood or MDF is expected to hold up the weight of those heavy machines PLUS water in the washer over time?? With nothing but 2 or 3 more skinny planks for support?? Unless there's more support under there than what we can see, it seems really risky. I wouldn't allow any small children near them.

in my culture it is unthinkable not to have an iron and an ironing board, I don't know anyone who doesn't have an iron, and when I was a student, my parents bought me a small iron so I could iron even in the dormitory.
