Voss is absolutely incredible. What a blessing of a human, and a blessing to have the opportunity to learn from…

Of all the worst people I've met this lifetime. Not one of them didn't care what their mom thought of them. Any one else not so much. Sometimes a dog, an ex, or just no one. But their always is some core connection there. Now they may not like their mother. But the mother always matters. Nice video, thanks for sharing.

There are times when it is appropriate to ask the man, "if you were to tell your mother what you are doing, would she be proud of you?"

Kindness, gratitude and humility appeals to almost every person no matter the culture or circumstance. They improve every situation and can melt the hardest hearts.

That's why they are rare and hard and take so much strength exhibit. But if you can adopt that way of living, it is like a superpower.

They are all human and all they want is to be loved and to feel safe. Like everyone else.

The fact that some cops and politicians need to be reminded of this tells a lot about how toxic their behaviour is towards others.

I can confirm this to be one of the most powerful tools you’ll forget.

Haha… Both of my parents are narcissists and I am barely surviving on my own. Wish I had someone that cares about me that is family. Luckily, I do have one amazing best friend.

Psycopath is often a term we throw to distance ourselves from our adversaries and i doubt that this would work on a true psycopath, most of the time your probably dealing with someone who's angry, desperate or afraid. Knowing your adversary/ enemy is essential and easily forgotten.

My guess is that bad guys are created from a bad world crapping on them, and bring motherhood into it is a reminder of an element of good in thr bad world.

He wasn't a psychopath or sociopath then. If he was, he would've responded with "who cares."

I just thought these shows might hurt negotiations if hostage takers ever found out any of the logic. I love the show. The 1st Bible verse I ever learned was a soft answer turneth away wrath. I have found that to work at times. I also have noticed if I mirror their emotion I’ve made quicker connections. Say they’re acting all upset and loud, I come in loud, like man, what hell did they do to you? I’m Mike, I usually get the story and relate kinda like Eastwood at the barbershop in Grand Torino, them sons of bitches!
