Would there be any inverse effects of her being pulled into a different era? When would Luke and Leia save their mother? What would Padme be able to do in the new era?

PPSW this was great. You didn't just do a Padme centric story, but a Padme in the Sequel era/New Republic era story. Also Padme relationship being integral to Ben remaining in the light was wonderfully heartfelt. Really liked this one. Glad reading up on the New Republic era gave you good inspiration for this What if.

You my friend prove once again why Star Wars politics are not only an vital part of it's lore and world building, but also the source of many of it's greatest stories.
Really love how the family kept together and could rely on one another during the whole story, specially how Padme was able to save Ben from ending up making the same mistakes Anakin did, and honestly that along the effects her career had in the New Republic really show why Palpatine wanted her dead so much in the prequels, she's the real threat.
Padme choosing Sabé as her new identity's name is such a sweet thing.
I'm glad Rey eventually gets her happy ending too despite getting yeeted out of the plot (though I suspect everyone went down on Ben with jokes about him having the same tastes as his mother). Poor Finn tho, chances are this change actually killed him offscreen.
Nice of Ezra to pop in, is always great whenever he does it. Wonder whose identity he stole now, maybe Phasma's? That would have been fun to see.

What if the Hutts only pretended to lose their Hutt Warrior culture to fool the galaxy, but made a comeback when Maul attempted to create Crimson Dawn and made it into an actual third faction in the Clone Wars, ready to laid waste to both Separatists and the Republic and take over?

1 - What if Jar Ja was elected Chancellor instead of Palpatine (in whose role he turned out to be surprisingly good).
2 - What if the Jedi (or at least the Jedi Council) knew about Anakin and Padme's marriage, but decided to allow it because they sensed it would make Anakin happy (Anakin and Padme don't know that the Jedi know).
