Sorry, apparently I mixed up a benchmark result in the BF3-MP section :) Fixed it!
GTX 660 Ti on BF3-MP: MIN: 41 FPS, AVG: 54 FPS, MAX: 90 FPS.
-
All benchmarks were done in 1920x1080
-
I compared the new graphics card to my old one (560 Ti) and got some pretty interesting results. Check the commented video to see if the 660 Ti is worth the upgrade!

The tested games were:
Battlefield 3 -- Singleplayer „Operation Swordbreaker"
Battlefield 3 -- Multiplayer „Kharg Island"
Dirt Showdown - Demo
GTA 4 - Benchmark Sequence
Mafia 2 - Benchmark Sequence
Metro 2033 - Demo
Skyrim

Am I the only one buying a GTX 560 Ti in 2017?

The 660 Ti will be faster in Battlefield 3 (and probably most other games).
If requested I could do a comparison video between the 660 Ti and the 570.

It's hard to find the combo of this card with Crysis 1 benchmarked anywhere. THANK YOU!

I noticed that! I emailed scan UK asking why the 560ti is being phased out and they said it's 'reaching the end of it's shelf life', which makes no sense. Currently have a 2gb MSI 560ti, and getting a 2gb MSI 660ti in the coming month, so thankyou for this video!

Great vid man! Exactly what I was looking for since I'm debating between buying either of those 2 cards. Just to make sure: all the games you showed were in 1920x1080, right?

Would you suggest another card for 1080p gaming instead of the 660 ti, or is it the best price/performance ratio? (not interested in AMD's).

Yes, it is just a rumor but to be fair, these are true most of the time.
I would expect the presentation of the 700 series in the beginning of June.

It's called "Fraps", you can benchmark, show FPS and record game footage with it.

I currently have the 560 ti - Do you think it is better to get a second 560 ti and SLI or upgrade to the 660?

Do you really consider the 660 obsolete? Or can a 2gb 560ti (fermi) do the job just fine with say, after burner+ game boost + tweaks?

I ask because i bought a twin frozr one a few months ago, and i don't see a real need to upgrade.

if you have a smaller monitor get a 660 ti it can handle high AA and MXAA also AF if you have a 1920x1080 just get 2 560 ti's and put them in sli mode you wont notice jagged lines when playing at 1080p because it is a a big res so it smoothes out almost everything, and you still get those high FPS.

On Nvidia's own website they fall under 600 series. The Titan may have been a prototype, but it isnt 700 series.

Is the GTX 660 Ti good enough or should I go for the GTX 670?

Gibt es einen Unterschied zwischen der normalen GTX 660ti und der Premium Edition?

I was really looking for non-Ti on the 660 :(

Yeah well I heard it's really good, but also that it' gets really hot. For a small case like this, with little ventilation, I think I'm better off with newer cards and newer cooler.

yes those fps seem to be a little exagerated, maybe he did something wrong there.but anyway he did a very good job that most of us wanted to see.

For me, Metro was barely playable with the below sys specs when I ran it on highest settings. Especially when you walk outside.

Sandy quad-core 2500k @ 4.5ghz
GTX560TI (overclocked)
8gb ram
800 watt PSU

I wonder why it would run so well for you.

I think he is because on the bf3 mp you can see german words on the screen if you looks closely

To adress your question: The 670 is mostly a little bit faster than the 660 Ti but often they offer quite the same performance. The 670 though is considerably more expensive, you have to judge for yourself if the little performance difference is worth the cost.

You understand that games don't use 6 cores right? Those extra cores only comes into play for high end photo/video editing.

I used to have a 1090T, i now have a i5-3570k. At same clock speeds, the i5 ABSOLUTELY DESTROYS the 1090T, despite having 2 less cores. Let's just say that i don't even have enough time to read the short tips in Borderlands 2 load screens.
