Today we are breaking down 3 S Tier HIGH DPS Builds for Title Update 20 which includes the best gear pieces, weapons, specializations and playstyle for each setup. Each build on this list is carefully crafted to provide you with the fastest killing force in the Division 2, raw DPS. This includes a one shot kill sniper build capable of clearing heroic control points in less than a minute, a devasting LMG build that utilizes one of the highest DPS weapons in the game, and an AR build that combines the best DPS gear Set with one of the best exotic weapons in the game to help you destroy anything that gets in your way..

The first build is the fastest killing sniper build in The Division 2. Thanks to the Hotshot gear set, you’ll be increasing your marksman rifle damage, weapon handling and headshot damage by 30%. Each headshot you land will add buffs to your agent including extra damage, bonus armor and even the ability to refill your magazine. To achieve the strongest possible damage output with your marksman rifle we have perfect headhunter and determined on this build. Two powerful talents that synergize incredibly well together to turn you into a one shot kill machine. After killing an enemy with a headshot while using perfect headhunter. Your next weapon hit within 30 seconds deals an additional 150% of that killing blows damage. With Determined, after you kill an enemy with a headshot, the next shot landed on an enemy will be a guaranteed headshot no matter which part of their body you hit. In simple terms, after you kill an NPC with a headshot every single shot after that will be a one shot kill on any NPC even named bosses. The best strategy with this build is to find the best vantage point where you can see all enemies and look for the NPC with the lowest amount of health to start chaining kills.

The second build is designed around one of the hardest hit weapons in the Division 2, the black market RPK. With over 50% crit chance and nearly 170% base crit hit damage you already have a solid foundation for high DPS. But why stop there? To increase damage output on this build I did several things. For starters, I have the strained talent on my RPK which stacks crit hit damage by 10% for every .5 seconds you are firing stacking up to 5 times. Low RPM weapons like the RPK are perfect for talents like strained because you can utilize the cit damage buff for a longer period of time. I also added the obliterate talent to make the crits even stronger. With obliterate, critical hits increase total weapon damage by 1% for 10 seconds stacking up to 25 times. This means as youre firing your RPK your stacking 50% extra crit damage and with each successful critical hit, you’ll stack up to 25% extra weapon damage. Since a more aggressive playstyle is required to make the most out of these talents, I added the unstoppable force talent to the backpack to maximize build efficiency even further. Unstoppable force increases your weapon damage by 5% for 15 seconds for each enemy you kill stacking up to 5 times. Every aspect of this build comes together to create one of the deadliest LMG DPS builds in the Division 2.

The last DPS build is easily one of the strongest and most reliable AR builds in the Division 2. There's so many aspects to this build that make it S Tier. For starters, it utilizes Strikers battle gear, the most powerful DPS gear set in the game. This set lets you stack damage on enemies giving you 1% with each hit stacking up to 100 times. My favorite weapon to use with this build is the St Elmos Exotic engine assault rifle. 70 rounds in the magazine, high crit chance and crit damage mods and the Actum Est talents which refills your magazine with shock bullets at 100 stacks. The perfect weapon choice for a strikers build! With the coyote buff active, you’re looking at max crit chance and nearly 200% crit hit damage on your st. Elmos. This combined with Strikers and the obliterate talent which stacks your weapon damage even further up to 25% everytime you land a crit creates a setup with so much power, making you feel nearly invincible.

As someone who has spent 90% of 9, 200 SHD levels as a sniper, NOW is the time to try sniper. It is so powerful. You don't even need perfect headhunter or vigilance as long as you pick your targets with care and stack headhunter before going for elite or named. Try bloodsucker on your backpack it will give you some wiggle room as you start out.

1-Shot Build Feedback:

- as others pointed out, M700 for max dmg (so you still oneshot in a 4-man on heroic), SR-1 for a huge mag.

- you cannot oneshot enemies with Helmets as they absorb the first shot, even if your damage is far above the helmets value, small ones lose their helmets immediately, Chungus Helmets can tank the hit if you're not at 2 stacks or if they are named (seems to vary), in this case use the next tip

- Assault Rifle is a bad secondary due to how Headhunter works. If you have your sniper and get 2 headshot kills your Headhunter Bonus is maxed and you deal about 28/29 mil Headshots on maxed out Bonuses + Watch (I guess, I'm still missing a few % HS DMG). Now if you switch to an AR while that buff is up now the buff is capped at the AR damage that is significantly lower and not worth it, even if you don't shoot it and switch back. However you can switch to a Shotgun (M870) and oneshot a Helmet of boss chungus as the bonus damage of HH is applied to each Pellet while calculating in favor of the Shotgun damage.

- extra tip: If you like sniping FARM THE NEMESIS - this one enables this exact build to work in Group/Raid content and you don't have to switch out a single other Piece (you just lose Determined and gotta actually click heads).

I use the Hotshot and Striker build. The Hotshot was super fun when the re-animator event was happening. I don't use lmg much, but I want to change that. I have a couple nice ones in my stash that I've been saving up for a rainy day.

If you're a skilled player (aiming wise) the best option is Striker - Eagle Bearer combo. Once you land a headshot you can rush into the enemies and face tank them as if you had at least 4 blue cores and with each kill you get you'll be reseting that damage.

Best sniper for Heoric is SR-1. Great handling, great reload speed. Can one shot named elites on a 1.5 mil armor build with DTOC and Determined+HHunter active.

Correction on the HotShot build. The one shot capabilities do not work on targets with helmets. Hyena Rushers, True Sons Heavy Gunners, Chongas, etc.

That has been my experience at least.

Personally, I use Big horn because her talent is focused on headshots, which also makes her useful in this build, and another tip is to use it in the special scope, causing 450% headshot damage, I deal around 36 million in a headshot, and I also use the backpack named P Vigilante, determination is the best Build of the game in my opinion and unfortunately it only has one weakness, helmets But it's still fun to feel like a real sniper again, I know the meta for weapons has changed but I still like using white death, even though there are m700 and SR1 that were, I don't see the need to change my weapon, I can do legendary with 4 players easily with any sniper over 1 million

For sniper build im using mantis to acsess decoy all the time. And chainkiller allways gives me guaranted headshot for second kill anyway and it doesnt stack with whitedeath. I also go for detector drone because it has a larger range and 3-4 min duration. Chainkiller is a must but idk about vigilance im using this perk for years now but my damage doesnt gona increase anymore than what it is because there is acualy a damage cap for it. At max chainkiller stack most sniper does excaly the same damage. I can only think weakest snipers and nemesis for an exeption to this situation.
Since most activitys unite together bloodsucker can give me a nessesary defance i need for enemys comming from behind.

Very informative, and seems to be evolving as things change, but perfect time for folks like me who weren't snipers in the past.
I saw a comment on fb this passed week where the person said to only get headshot damage to between one fifty and one sixty five percent, then spec into crit hit chance to as close to sixty percent as possible, then the rest goes into crit hit damage, because anything above one sixty five percent is diminishing returns on a headshot build.

What are your thoughts?

Currently the hardest hitting build is striker ouroborus with strikers chest and packpack and a sokolov holster with all crit attributes

I run a striker build with rp9 lmg with frenzy it's all red cores with crit DMG and crit chance 95% maxed out 57% crit chance and 125% crit DMG my shd is only 329 so it's only going to get stronger only down side is that you're very squishy the build melts also the rp9 has 200 round mag

If you have the Coyote's mask, then you should stack CHD after you get to 40%CHC.
