You can make a similar origami lotus by altering a Cootie-Catcher a bit after folding it, too!

Take the Fortune Teller and set it on its <feet>. Lay it on its face, flat. Then fold the tips of its feet up to each corner.

From there you can easily fold the Fortune Teller into an Origami Lotus if you use this video as a reference.
