I'd recommend setting fidelityfx strength to 75 instead of 100 because there's not much of a difference and u get more frames

im baffled to see the performance is worse in MW3 compared to MW2.. in MW2 i had most settings on normal with my 1080ti/i7-8700k combo and the game ran perfectly smooth with FSR 2.1 around 100-130 fps on all MP maps idk about warzone etc but i know just from playing Ground War the performance drops insanely much which is wild to see the larger maps arent well optimized but with MW3 i have to have everything on low/very low and the MP is playable around 80-100fps but zombies and warzone is close to unplayable whenever stuff happens even just running around in the more central part of the map is bad, makes me wonder how MW2019 was so amazingly optimized but the later titles just keep going downhill unless you got latest and greatest ai graphics cards

New PC broke just before beta, so had to get back on my old one for a while. The upscaling part was amazing! AMD FSR 2.1 works wonders for me, and gives me both the clarity and fps I need. Thanks!

My PC isn't particularly high end, I'd say its mid tier. x570m/R7 3700X/ASUS Tuf gaming 3060ti OC overclocked slightly. Using your settings recommendations, except for a few "Normal for a nicer looking game", my benchmark has improved MASSIVELY, .... like no dips below 135 FPS and almost constant 144+. I keep telling my friends that from last installment to MW3, the colors and picture is so hard to actually see who TF is shooting me. I never used to have this issue. I am hopeful that based on the improved bench, I will be able to see people better. Thanks for the in depth dive and explaining what is what!

Thanks so much for the video! This massively improved my FPS from like 140-160 to 200+…however I notice some FPS spikes in Zombies. Multiplayer seems fine, but zombies has significant drops sometimes. Can’t tell visually but the numbers show it.

UPDATE: I think it just seems to be Zombies affected by this. I tried other "optimization" videos that were newly released within the week for Season 2, and your settings still performed better! Thanks so much for the video. It would still be nice to have an updated version in case anything could be changed for the better.
