I had the exact same problem and almost quit playing because I thought it was me. I got the exact same type tv as you a 3d led and I did your tip and went from 5-6 kills to 25-30 a match. Thanks man. I didn't think a tv itself can lag like that.

Same shit happened when I got my vizio but I new about game mode just didn't know I had to turn it off..then on to fully activate it. Raged for 2 or 3 weeks. XD
