Why does my 5hp governor rocker-arm oscillate after warming

Short & to the point video, finally ~ thank you. I have a new 16" Sunjoe electric mower that sporadically stops working when I release the power bar & stop mowing. After waiting 10-15 minutes it will restart. Per the instruction manual, my agreeing opinion is the mower is overheating because the power extension cord is either too old or under-gauge at 16 when it should be 12 gauge. Hard to say, the cord is not marked, except for "Made in China". 🙄
(I will be buying a heavier MARKED 12g cord this week.)

The symptoms of my electric lawnmower motor:
-doesn't start but when I tap the center shaft lightly with a hammer it almost starts, as I jostle the unit it continues to almost start
-when I wack the center shaft, then it starts and runs until it cools down

the oil; fuel can seep into the oil past the pistons and foul it, causing the engine to run for a while before the engine's governor oscillates then shuts itself down.

c'mon dude, troubleshooting? electric lawnmowers that run w/a cord, check the battery? how about the rectifier/diode assembly to verify you are getting your dc to the motor? this kind of simplistic "troubleshooting" is a waste of time. You seem like a nice guy, but look at the camera and impart something more than "is it plugged in" sheesh...and yeah, that's a gas mower with electric start, right?
