Back in 2008 when this took place we all had high hopes that Triumph was back. Sadly, that was not the case but they left us with incredible music and memories. I was fortunate enough to be invited to fanfest in 2019 and got to see what is most likely their final performance together. They were as incredible as always. I will always be grateful for everything that they gave us!

I am very old school I was born in 1968 Triumph is the awesome band you youngsters need to hear because if you understood the words you would know about us old school people and where we've been and where we are near Wheel of Life we love everybody that is only the truth but I will tell you one thing there ain't nothing but time and it's the clue to the happiness of love and time and pee some more but you know what maybe it's no more but when I lay down to rest I want you youngsters to know Triumph was the best

Rik Emmett deserves every ounce and more of respect he has earned as a guitarist and lead vocalists over the years! Triumph was my very first concert ever as a pre-teenager who would go onto rock out myself over the years! Thanks for the inspiration brother Rik!

Rik Emmett is one of the coolest rock celebrities that I met. It was at the LA forum in the early 90’s and the great one was playing with LA kings. I was coming back from the bathroom, and I passed Rik and said “mr. Emmett ?” He stopped and shook my hand and said “Rik” with a smile. Stopped and talked to me for a good 2 to 3 minutes, I told him I’m sorry and please go and watch the game, and I didn’t mean to stop you. He said it wasn’t a problem at all..that was a great moment for me as I’m an even bigger fan now...rock on Mr. Emmett!!

These guys are the shit, been listening to them forever. A mystery to me why they never got more recognition, they deserve it.

Even though these guys got a lot older and a bit slower, and all their best music is behind them, they can still get together and rock out and sound better than %90 of the crap that's out there nowadays!! LONG LIVE TRIUMPH!!!

Rik’s always been a fantastic player, but I think the years, and continued exposure to other kinds of music, have made him even better. He’s just one of the most talented front men I’ve ever seen. Triumph was a great rock band with impeccable pop sensibilities. Great hooks, fantastic harmonies.

I saw these guys in 1977 I think at Cleary Auditorium in Windsor Ontario. Might have been 10 people there. We had crappie seats but moved up to the front row because no one was there. Who knew how big and great they would become just a few years later. Love and miss these guys!
