Had to do this job on my sons 04, put it all back together and was off on the timing belt. Had to take it all apart and try again. So be careful with timing.

There are years where models are different enough to merit asking about changes or similarities. No issue in that. make sure the top cam and bottom crank r top dead center..they have marks on them

Do I really need to take the valve cover off to do the timing belt?
Or can I just paint a line if nothing moves and slap a new belt on?

when i turn on the ac it squeaks. Do I just use the alternator wing nut to tighten the belt of both the alternator and AC compressor? Thanks.

I have a 1.7 Honda 262k miles. oil leak coming from I think head& block area near EGR have you ran into something like this ??/

yea well i started doing it and i found out that the nut that holds the steering pump has stripped head so i cant take it out with no sockets..

I have my timing belt changed. And the engine seems to shake a bit, also i am not geting the good MPG i was getting.
