Congressman-elect George Santos faces new investigation from Brazil

Long Island Republican George Santos will be sworn in in Congress on Tuesday despite a series of lies on his resume, and now, he's facing a new investigation. CBS2's Dick Brennan reports.

My mom…an avowed Republican…who has not voted for a non- Republican since JFK, lives in his district and wants him to resign, I am a lifelong Democrat and our divergent politics have long caused a wedge between us. I was so proud to hear her opposing Santos.

Jumping bail and an arrest warrant in Brazil will be the least of his worries.

How sad is it that this scandal is on the Republicans' BACK burner? Seating Santos is the least of their worries. Until they quit brawling over the new Speaker, it's up in the air when ANY of the new Congressional reps will be sworn in, or who's going to do it.
