In this video, you will learn how to use the Temporary Hide/Isolate tool in Revit. This tool will allow you to quickly view only what you need to in any view. This can be done multiple times within each isolated selection to isolate the desired elements. Isolation can be done by element or category, making it simple to see only the door you selected or all doors in the view. The blue border around the screen ensures this is all temporary.

Please leave comments and questions below and I will get back to you!

Thanks for watching!

How do you completely isolate an element (or various) from a specific view? (like floor plans) Everytime I close and open the Revit file those elements are visible again and have to select them back again.

Danka, My boss kept getting upset with me because I always used the element hide rather than temp hide.
