William Branham Healed Diseases - Not God

In the early versions of William Branham’s stage persona – the version that sparked the Latter Rain movement and ultimately the New Apostolic Reformation, William Branham claimed to have the power to heal without God.

In those versions of his stage persona, and similar to Oral Roberts and others, Branham claimed to have vibrating hands that detected diseases and afflictions. Once “diagnosed”, William Branham boasted that he could heal them “without even praying”. In 1947 Branham told a crowd that as a demonstration of this power, the audience could send cross eyed children to the platform and he would heal “without even praying”.

Many of Branham’s sermons are missing or have been edited, but Branham appears to have made the same claim while working with Jim Jones and Joseph Mattsson-Boze. Branham claimed to have healed a woman of cancer in August of 1956 “without even praying” for her.

That is so interesting!! I remember the thing about his hand supposedly vibrating and hurting and swelling, as a way of diagnosing diseases, I forgot about him saying he could heal people without praying. It figures. The more I learn from these videos and your books and things, the more I know William Marvin Branham was about William Marvin Branham, not about God, like I believed he was for so long.

Taking credit for something only our Heavenly Father can do is blasphemy. I didn't watch the whole video, but I'm guessing Mr. Branham has already passed into his eternity. Satan is his God and we all know what the end game is. Satan will fall. Guard your hearts and pray often as to not be deceived.

If i remember well peters shadow over the people qas enough for people to be healed see the same bible contradicts this guy what about the bones of elisha? Or the young man the paul brougth back after falling fro the window during one of his sermons? The time will come when the church and jesus will be one with the word and all these thngs will happen again god is god and he is the lord so he can do whatever ge pleases and he did

While I am no fan or disciple or whatever for Branham, it is so strange you are mixing up two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT issues. Healing without praying IS NOT THE SAME AS healing without God. He can, like Jesus, just say "Be healed" and the person gets healed. I don't see any point for controversy here.

I am no fan of Branham, but if you are going to compare what he said with the bible, you should read your bible. Jesus told His disciples to heal and lay hands on the sick (these signs shall follow those who believe - Mk 16). He never said pray for the sick (KJV). Jesus never prayed for the sick. He touched them, they touched him, He gave commands, He thanked His father, and cast out demons. In your zeal to eviscerate Pentecostals and Charismatics, don't throw out your bible. No all are like Branham, Toronto or the Faith Movement. Instead, challenge them with God's word. James 5 says to pray over them and anoint them with oil (how do you anoint them? by laying hands of them). Follow a biblical principle and you will get a biblical result. Teach what the bible says, and you will have God's commendation and my Amen. Strive to please God rather than man. We all shall give an account.

This guy is a liar. I have listened to so many tapes of W. Branham and never did he say he is the healer, he always point to Jesus Christ as the healer.
I would rather believe him because so many people testify about him rather than this guy here.
