Honestly not bad LG.. The camera setup the way it should be done. Though it would be nicer if it had a bigger sensor for the other 2.

I would consider this phone. I've had an LG G4 for 2.5years. Got it cuz at the time it had one of the biggest screens (5.5"), and a 16MP camera which was really good for early 2016. And the 8MP front camera was also excellent for early 2016. Plus 32GB of storage with a microSD card slot, with 3GB of RAM. NFC capable. Those specs are actually the same (or even better) that you would find in a brand new midrange phone at the moment. My G4 is going strong. So probs looking to get another LG when I upgrade.

Listen LG, go with stock android, release your phones in time and price it lesser than Google's and Samsung's. You will win for sure. Everything with you guys are pretty amazing.

I have the V30. Its been a great phone. No real serious problems. Headphones and music are important to me and this phone fits the bill nicely.

I've commented on the V20 to V40 "upgrade" on other videos. In a perfect world LG would give us everything in one flagship device: large capacity removable battery, water resistance, headphone jack, duo fingerprint-power button, cameras, expandable storage, OLED, NO "assistant button", NO notch, blah, blah, blah...Having "upgraded" my V20 to a V40 the 40 takes getting use to and both have +/-. After a full month with my V40 I do appreciate the snappy speed of the updated processor and kudos for water resistance after my toddler dropped a glass of juice all over it. In a perfect world the V20 would mate with the V40 and birth a beautiful flagship baby. I must add I have played with my wife's XS MAX (beautiful screen sourced via LG or Samsung if not mistaken?) and the LG is noticeably faster in regards to performance speed, buffering, signal strength and response time. Not just bias either as the wife agrees...LG V40 FTW!

I'll stick with my V30 for now, I'm not impressed enough to upgrade, at this time however, my wife's Note 9 keeps getting my attention, C'mon LG I need a Bigger bang!

Can't wait for some hands on time with this at T-mo.

Note: I find it funny that people complain about the price of the V40 but will kindly buy Apple or Samsung for the same price. It's also funny that they complain about how the G7 was overpriced while the regular S9 was similar. I do agree that lg needs to schedule the releases a bit earlier(though the Pixel 3 looking to be a botched mess).

I love how LG proudly announced they were opening branches specifically for software of their products and this phone still launched with last year's OS
