I used to listen to Dave Ramsey's radio show a few years ago. While I thought his ideas were basically good I was struck by his unwavering attitude about insurance and annuities which are easy to demonstrate their good. I'm older than Ramsey and understand the value of crypto, annuities, insurance and even ETF's, all the things he's against.

I kind of sense that Dave is feeling uneasy because on the inside as the days go by, and the market cap of all cryptos continues climbing into the trillions of dollars, he knows he might be missing the boat. He doesn't sound like he's fully convinced of his own position.

he recommends investing in growth stock mutual funds and he says you’ll get a 12% rate of return on average.

He also recommends no debt, especially no credit card debt. He’s 100% right on that! if you have credit card debt, you shouldn’t be investing in anything except paying that credit card debt off.
