As a crimson player I see this is an absolute win

Crimson all the way. It may be more difficult, but it's worth it for the better weapons, particularly Golden Shower and Vampire Knives.

Crimson is cannonically stronger, since corruption is only in thid world, while crimson is worshiped like a god in others.

I prefer crimson. Brain is way easier than the eater. And ichor is better than the cursed flame
