Honestly, depends on the class I’m playing.
Melee or Summoner= Crimson
Magic or Ranger= Corruption

Remember, you can just make a mini biome for whatever corruption you need. So in my corruption world, I made a small crimson so I can get ichor, so at the end of the day, it doesn’t really matter

I like the corruption it's just feels a bit more chill than the crimson

For debuff and expert drops especially dodging, crimson (even if the golden shower is for secondary). But if mage, corruption tho for tanking it's very hard to set loadout with the scarf and since late at game you'll get cross necklace and master ninja gear, why not get something that does like those early with the brain.

Corruption for your first playthrough or two, then crimson for however long you want

Or I mean if you’re dedicated enough and don’t wanna leave you world to get red solution you can just move a Dryad into the hard mode graveyard biome and she sells the opposite seed, then you can convert it to powder and make it slightly easier.

I Always do random.
They are both the Same difficulty.
A good example are the Dart guns.
The Dart Gun does less damage, but is much faster than the Dart Rifle, which does more damage, but is slower.

Definitely crimson. Yeah, corruption is cool and scarf and other stuff, but killing brain always was easier for me - it's just about hitting him all the time, so he can't reach you. Not dodging these homing missiles looking like green slime balls(maybe just should have few tries on eater, could be skill issue after all).

And, oh man, these little flying eaters of my nerves while I'm building arena for worm.

Plus, after around a dozen of master+ difficulty runs, will choose brain of confusion cause I'd really like to not get hit by boss. Especially while playing something like ranger, mage or rogue.

Not saying about ichor and other stuff cause why should I, but yeah. Probably shoud go for corruption a few times.

Crimson is a reskinned overworld and easier to walk and fight and the caves are simple so If your beginning it's crimson

I have a mod in tmodloader that makes it so all my worlds spawn with BOTH corruption and Crimson. But can only be one corruption or Crimson boss. So the game does a random roll of the dice to see which boss is chosen so it’s used when you break a orb or heart thingy

I was always team Corruption because it's the OG but man I recently started playing Crimson and I can't go back because it GIVES YOU A FREE ARENA SPACE. It's just sooo much more satisfying to traverse than Corruption
