Well she's right. Shiva is associated to ganjha, why can't kali be meat-eating deity? This is freedom of religion. Even though I can't imagine Kali Maa that way, I don't find this version of her problematic or unconstitutional. If I can imagine her as a vegetarian, a non-vegetarian can imagine her in their likeness. We cannot impinge on other people's freedom of religion to express our own.

Actually in Bengal there are two types of maa kaali, one is black in colour who did tandab nritya, given meat and alcohol as prasadam. Another one is Shyama kaali is vegetarian worship by general public. We worship second one and keep my shop name accordingly.
