Two common Tricep pushdown mistakes that are killing your triceps gains.

The 1st mistake is standing completely straight, which limits the range of motion. Instead, bend over slightly to increase the range of motion.

The 2nd mistake is moving the upper arm shifting tension away from the triceps and to the lats. Instead, you want to keep your upper arm fixed

2nd is not a mistake. It increases the stretch on the long head and exercise can become even more effective. Even CBum advised this trick

You got to feel the tension thats the real set. Everyone`s built is different. I mix my sets with the full range of motion and half ranges and if you don`t feel the muscle tension you are not doing it right. You gotta feel the pump.

Cbum told me i can move my arm, tricep to elbow, but i stop my forearm and wrists and 90* and then raise my arms keeping my forearms locked. Really does hit the long head

The biggest mistake here is going too far up. You’re transferring more emphasis to your shoulders. Only go up until your forearms are at or slightly above parallel to the floor, keeps the tension on the triceps only

When you walk around a gym thinking you're an expert because you've seen a few "dont do this" videos, be sure you know what yhe person is targeting before "correcting" them. Just like this video show...most tricep exercises become intentional lat exercise with a slight change in form.

That's why a lot of the time I don't listen when a guy is telling me what to do! Yesterday at the gym aome guy came(no reason) tp tell me to stay standing straight up! Like I love how everyone think the way they od it is the way everyone should be doing it lol

Lat movement is key. Extra stretch & heavier weight while allowing all around better squeeze. It just feels better & takes away discomfort in the elbows when u try to be super strict
