Fallout 4 - Distress Signal Mystery

The mysterious distress signal found in Sanctuary Hills, i don't know what to do!!

I have scrapped 3 inactive distress beacons and I have 3 distress signals in Sanctuary right where I scrapped them.  Coincidence?  I think not.

for me the distress signal seems to be bringing me to the red rocket truck stop

Standing at the spot 99.90% in mid of street right in front of the house.

That means you scrapped the distress signal device there, best not to scrap them or you'll end up with this glitch at the settlement where you scrapped the beacon

I'm getting the signal without Carla being there. it's always around the house where the workshops are it gets a little stronger if you go inside.

if it is 3rd signal, then i think i found it, it is between to settlement,
settlement's names are county crossing and green top nursery.

you can get 3 power armor buried in sand but i cant take them out

It is a residual signal from distress pulsers/beacon you picked up and stashed, even after scrapping they keep pointing to the workbench

Dude, i dont know if you mean the same signal i am talking about, but anyway, fact is, that in Sanctuary Hills (where the road rounding, with a huge tree in the midle) there ara two same coloured houses wich are standing infront of one annother) You gonna need one wich is closer to a vault 111, (other one with pumpkin drawned beside a entrance, wch is closer to a river, you dont need) So, there is a basment on backyard of this sky-blue house, wich contains alot of usefull things, (i guess its spawns randomly, in my case there was 10 or something Fusion Cores, couple Golden bars, and some chems.... And, distress transmiter as well!))) So Enjoy, hopefully it was usefull, Minitemen are allways happy to help!)))) Respect to Bethesda, dispite on glitches the game is awesome itself!))) P.S. Does anyone has a Geiger Counter?)))

So even with the new update the distress signal is still there. Glitch? I think not! Conspiracy? Illuminati confirmed!!

Trahscan Carla is a Synth Spy but she's nit giving the signal.

Dang it... I have a problem to and just figured it out. First I check my radio on my fallout 4 game that distress signal wasn't there but ( what I didn't know until recently ) when I scrap that darn beacon that it automatically set up a distress signal. That's what happen to me and I really regret it... now it will hunt me forever.

Yes its a bug .. if its from new update . Head to the farm at glowing sea .. for new distress signal etc .. hope u find it .. 😊

so i was playing my game when i came across a similar glitch. Wandering the wasteland, I found a distress signal and decided to follow it. Strangely, it didn't give me any textual indications of how close I was, so i had to play it by ear. When I tracked down the signal, it lead to the front seat of a van next to the drumlin diner, where you originally meet trashcan carla. There was no beacon, and nothing really out of place, no event triggered and the signal didnt go away. I couldnt figure out where it was coming from, so I searched around on google and found that there is no signal that's supposed to spawn there in the game? A bit weird. Maybe some kind of correlation with a glitch in carla's code and where she came from.

I scrapped a distress signal beacon from a BoS quest at the Castle and now I have the distress signal at the castle. It's really annoying tbh

I'm having that too but I didn't scrapped any beacon. I also tried to search the surrounding area around the river if there is some sort of cave or tunnel under Sanctuary Hill but there is none.

you left a distress signal in one of your work benches. that's what happen to me

you might have left the distress signal and one of the work benches in sanctuary that's what happened to us
